The second annual CMTC Pig Roast Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th, 2017. This is an exciting extravaganza where 100pound pigs are prepared on site by the famous Scotty Scott! There is plenty of entertainment and a host of special guests, major contractors, and city officials. This event is important to the center as it helps to generate funds for general operation of the CMTC as federal grants and funds are currently restricted. This is an event you certainly don’t want to miss! For more information contact Brittny Crain at, (510)208-7352.
Good News! After 23 years in West Oakland, making life changes in community residents, Cypress Mandela Training Center, Inc.(CMTC), has relocated to 977 - 66th Avenue, Oakland, CA 94621. This will allow us to expand the program by increasing the number of participants per training cycle. We hope this doesn’t cause an inconvenience to anyone; however, this expansion will allow us to have a greater impact and help reduce crime within our communities. The new address is effective as of September 1, 2015. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition.
