Over the last twenty years, Cypress has placed over 1700 East Bay residents in the building trades. Our training program encompasses a rigorous 16 - weeks of instruction in green construction pathways that include certified training in Solar/ Weatherization.
We are committed to:
- Making life changes in students
- Promoting and upholding a standard/ honor code
- Providing pathways to economic stability
- Providing strong positive role models for the students to learn from producing well rounded individuals, who in turn can contribute to their families and communities
- Noble training because it reinforces personal responsibility and accountability, while fighting poverty and crime
- Teaching students to love, respect, and honor themselves, their community, and others.
- Training students for careers ...and life.
